The well-publicized disappearance of various beautiful young women across our country reveals some commonalities. Blond hair, beautiful facial features, excellently proportioned bodies, age 18-21, a degree of naiveté, and adventuresome personalities. All of this seems too coincidental...
for the abductions to have been performed by lone perpetrators. I submit that we are on the sidelines observing a well organized and highly coordinated effort to abduct numerous females of this description. The motivating purpose for these abductions would appear to be a source of quick cash for the abductors. If true, the good news would be that these young women are still alive. The bad news would be that they have probably been transported to a foreign country and sold into a life of sexual slavery. As bad as this would be, the fact that they would be alive and could eventually find a way to escape, or be rescued, would provide a ray of hope for them and their families.
The most obvious destination for abducted young women would be to countries south of our border due to the relative ease of transporting them by land across our border with Mexico. Another method of transportation could be by ship to ports deeper into Mexico. Central America, and South America. From these countries the victim could more easily be transported to countries throughout the world. The possibility of finding the abducted is reduced if they are sent away from their home country.
The abductors have obviously weighed ransom requests against the short term ability to be paid a substantial ’finders fee’ and the ultimate longer term ability for the ‘procurers’ to make substantially more money from using the women as sexual slaves. Ransom requests would expose the abductors to a higher risk of being caught and this might deter them from this pursuit in favor of the slavery route.
Human trafficking has existed for centuries and has found its way into mainstream America, involving both immigrants and those who are exported from our country. It includes women and children, boys and girls, and is a very lucrative business for the low-life’s who participate in it. We don’t like to think about it but prostitution includes young boys and girls, not just mature females. Just think about how many young children in the United States disappear each year. Some of these children could be forced to participate in sexual slavery rings, either in our country or elsewhere. The United States is one of the largest markets for sex slavery in the entire world. Those who are forced into sex slavery have a life expectancy of approximately four years. Evil sickness that provides a market for such despicable acts against humanity is perverse in our country and other parts of the world. In the United States not only is this practice a violation of human rights but it violates the 13th Amendment to our Constitution which prohibits the practice of slavery. The responsibility to locate various abductees not only lies with police departments and the FBI, but also our Immigration Service and Homeland Security. The seriousness and pervasiveness of this problem demands additional attention, which requires increased funding.
I realize this is a painfully gruesome subject for families of the victims but forthright discussions suggesting previously unconsidered motivations for the disappearance of loved ones might bring a ray of hope to the families. I have no investigative credentials and my imagination might be a bit overly active in this case but sometimes that is necessary if such devious and evil crimes are to ever be solved. Many people are praying for the safe return of these young women and children and I join them in sincere prayer. May God exact justice on the evil people who perpetrate these horrible crimes on the young and innocent and may He provide for the abductees’ safety and return to their families.
There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
John Adams (1735-1826)
