This life isn’t intended for me. I don’t fit in with most people in this world. I love each member of my immediate family and I have a few friends that I admire and love. However, I realize after many years of having fooled myself, that I’m not a man of this world who enjoys all of the things, or even some of the things, that are enjoyed by people all around me. The single biggest problem I have can be summed up in one word – PEOPLE. Most people are living a phony life of their own imagination, which is fueled by the feedback they strive to acquire from other people who suffer the same social state of mind. If this is what life on this earth is all about, then I would probably be better off on one of those new planets recently discovered. Hurry up scientists, physicists, engineers, and other super intelligent people who can hasten our departure from this laboratory called earth and afford us the opportunity to try life again on another planet.
How many of us have spent our life trying to please other people? If we ask ourselves the question, “Am I really and truly happy?” What is our answer? Do you feel trapped and unable to escape the humdrum life that holds you captive? Do people constantly remind you of your shortcomings? When you do attempt to speak to people in your company, do they ignore you and “talk over” what you have to say? Do you often feel that people around you are talking themselves, and you, to death? How often do you become bored by people who tend to constantly brag about their accomplishments, abilities, wealth, education, and material acquisitions? Does all of this verbal bombardment get on your nerves, under your skin, and make you think the perpetrators are seeking social orgasmic experiences at the expense of your ears, patience, and desire to scream?Yes, I must depart this world as soon as possible and find a quieter, more hospitable, understanding, loving, happy, enjoyable, compatible, less aggressive, less aggravating, and peaceful place to live.
