I always thought the three major television news networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) were reliable, non-prejudiced, and professional journalists who investigated and researched news stories broadcast on their network. It took the Obama campaign for president and subsequent issues ...after he was elected president for me to realize none of these networks were reporting all of the negative information and facts that surfaced about Obama. In fact, they suppressed negative issues as if they wanted to protect his image and reputation so he would be elected. This attitude and corporate network policy continued after his victory as proof that they wanted his popularity among citizens of this country and abroad to remain high and not be maligned by any negative revelations about the man.
The FOX Network has reported most, but not all, of the negative facts about Obama. However, they are very biased toward the conservative populace of this country and I sometimes have to question whether they are providing totally accurate and unbiased journalistic coverage of Obama and his administration.
The only television news network production that I have found to be unbiased and accurate in their coverage of Obama is the PBS News Hour. They are my news network of choice as long as they continue to present non-biased journalistic coverage of the Obama administration, be it a good or bad reflection on the people in the administration.
A few news issues worthy of revelation to the American citizens range from Obama being found guilty of grand theft auto when he was a teenager, to a video of him stating he is a Muslim. These aren’t the only news worthy issues but they are just examples of what the news networks have chosen to keep secret from American citizens. All caring citizens should be appalled that such information is being omitted from the news we are being spoon-fed by the major news networks.
Too few American citizens care enough to speak out against this type of journalistic presentation and they don’t seem to realize that we are being manipulated in the direction chosen by the news network corporations, in lieu of the direction we would choose to take if we are in possession of all worthy facts. I can only hope that those who voted for Obama and who continue to support his agenda will be awakened to the facts, if the facts are ever brought to their attention. I can only hope that this realization will occur before Obama has led our country down the wrong path to the point of no return.
Also, it doesn’t take much research to learn the facts that are being intentionally obscured from our citizens. It’s difficult to come up with an answer to the question of why top notch journalists, such as Bob Woodward, have refrained from publishing a book about the truth of the Obama rise to power and his agenda for the United States and the world as a whole.
I’m not a fear-monger and I try to be balanced in my personal judgment of political, religious, and other issues. I look forward to the day that all news reporting is fairly balanced, factual, and non-biased.
